The Japanese Moto GP will take place at the Motegi Circuit in an idyllic, rural parkland area which provides a change from the cityscape settings that the country is usually associated with. The park is also the home to Japan’s Honda Museum, which exhibits the original CBR 1000 and bikes ridden by Mike Hailwood in the 60s. There is a high tech exhibition hall, a nature exhibit/trail, a kiddies pocketbike track and a variety of shops and concession, ensuring that Moto GP spectators will be entertained both in and out of the circuit.
Grandstand A of the circuit are higher up and covered, providing a sensational view of most of the circuit for spectators who like to see where all the racers are at. Whereas Grandstand C enables you to get close up to one of the most exciting final corners of the circuit, and the excitement and apprehension of the race can be felt strongly in this stand. Grandstand G gives an excellent view of the infamous 90 degree corner of the circuit, where a lot of the key deciding action of the race takes place. Although, if you prefer to see this downhill corner along with a view of the rest of the circuit, then Grandstand Z is highly recommended for maximum entertainment and exhilaration.
Whichever Grandstand you choose, the Motegi circuit guarantees suspense at every corner, making Round 2 of the Moto GP a race that you cannot afford to miss!
