The Jerez circuit, with its recently modified Paddock and pit box areas, is one of the best circuits and races for spectators to attend in this year's MotoGP calendar.
The track itself was relaid in 2003 to smooth out most of the bumps that caused bikers problems. However, there are some bumps remaining on the two fastest corners of the circuit, known as the Alex Criville corner and the Enzo Ferrari corner. These two corners are taken in fourth gear at more than 150 Km/h and with significant lean on the bike making it a challenge for riders.
In 2009, the Jerez circuit was awarded the winner of the IRTA ‘Best Grand Prix’ for its constant commitment to ensuring the excitement of riders and spectators alike. The track has been frequently updated since the early 1990s to create an exhilirating track in the consistently warm and dry climate.
